The Conductor
M°
Giorgio Pandini who now conducts the Community Band
of Soresina, attended the Music Conservatory “G. Nicolini”
in Piacenza in the Trumpet class of M° Silvio Franzini.
He is a founder member of the brass ensemble Parsifal
Brass Quartet, with which he could play in many places
during various musical events. He also had musical experiences
abroad, where he played both in orchestra and big band. About
ten years ago he started teaching brass instruments in the
musical courses of the community band "G. Anelli”
of Trigolo (CR) - ITALY.
He studyed conducting
technique, harmony, wind band arranging and wind band musical
history with M° Lorenzo Della Fonte,
one of the best and famous wind orchestra composer and conductor,
and with the composer M° Arturo Andreoli
who is the conductor of the italian community bands of Gambara
and Manerbio and also the president of the WASBE (world association
of symphonic band ensemble) italian section. He also attended
a musical stage about the wind orchestra conducting technique
held by the great american conductor and teacher M°
Eugene Migliaro Corporon (who is the musical professor
in the North Texas University and also conducts the North
Texas Wind Symphony with which he gained international successes
and also two nominations at the Grammy Awards).
